Issues

If we look at the Lafayette Parish School System as a business, our core product we help create are educated, employable, and well rounded adults.  This is why my primary focus is on student outcomes.  This doesn’t include just graduating a student but ensuring they are ready for their next stage in life.  Whether a student decides to go to a 2 year or 4 year college, straight into a career, or decides to join the military, our job is to prepare them for that.  As part of my platform, I promise to work on:

1. Fixing Transportation Issues

2. Getting students better access to mentoring and mental health services

3. Adding more accountability for student outcomes

4. Creating a safe and fun learning environment
